I'm starting my veggie garden as soon as my last frost date arrives in my area.

I am planting some nasturtium and marigolds for companion plants as well. I haven't had luck with the nasturtium indoors, they just shrivel and die. I am going to plant some seed outdoors this time and see how it goes.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15907498918895308265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561868723668365584.post-6571844389242272522008-04-26T19:02:00.000-07:002008-04-26T19:02:00.000-07:00Sorry to post all over your blog. I was going to give you the post to Craig's tomato starting thread at tomatoville and I just realized you already posted in it. :) I am the Kristy in the NORCATT 2005 photos there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561868723668365584.post-30338295528340557212008-04-26T17:49:00.000-07:002008-04-26T17:49:00.000-07:00Ah, too bad. I've kind of fine tuned my methods over the last few years and I start them for friends, but I got too busy this year to do it right. I started mine about a month late (I think Valentines Day is perfect), so they're tiny still. In about two weeks I might have some extras you could have --I have a few extras of Sungold, Anna Russian, Druzba, Cherokee Purple, Little Lucky, Lucky Cross and Neves Azorean Red. I usually have more.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561868723668365584.post-90521409150264350902008-04-26T15:32:00.000-07:002008-04-26T15:32:00.000-07:00I'm having terrible luck with my tomato plants thi...I'm having terrible luck with my tomato plants this year, so hopefully next year I will have a better set-up and for sure sell tomato plants.Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09564621390336672083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561868723668365584.post-19629239876294032202008-04-24T17:00:00.000-07:002008-04-24T17:00:00.000-07:00Hi neighbor! It's good to see someone else in Carmichael with a tomato list longer than mine.

Have you sold any plants? I sold tomatoes about 3 years ago (I grew something like 40 varieties that year -- pure insanity.) I just put up a bunch of signs near my house (like for a garage sale), and people came. I didn't make a fortune or anything, but I broke even and met some nice people. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
